I thought I remembered how they went, but just wanted to check before going out a hacking into the Leitrim sod...well, stoney sod, to be exact! Your details are very helpful and practical, so here goes...<br /><br />Our soil is lighter than yours in Connemara, as we are high up and like I say really stony. I imagine it was just backbreaking for you turning your beds as it looks incredibly soggy and heavy.
